"it was frightening, but I felt I was in safe hands"

About: Furness General Hospital

What I liked

I was taken to A&E by my work colleagues at about 10 am on 26th April. I was experiencing chest pain and discomfort. I subsequently had a heart attact on the treatment table and was given Thrombolysis treatment before being transferred to Blackpool Victoria CCU, where I had Angioplasty treatment. I am now at home in Hampshire recovering. I would like to thank the A&E team at Furness General for all they did to save my life, I know I could not have been in a better place or in better hands - thank you.

Anything else?

Not long after being omitted, I was on the treatment bed and two students were asking me a series of questions prior to the Doctor arriving. I was in some pain at the time and found this difficult to deal with.
