Cataracts on both eyes have really impacted my ability to carry out duties. I am a full time Carer for a disabled family member and was keen to proceed with the Operation in order to get back to full capacity as soon as possible. Spa Medica offer an extremely short waiting list.

A severe Phobia of having my blood pressure checked in situations where it counts causes me extreme panic and spikes my usual 127/77 to an off the chart high reading. Spa Medica staff are excessively sympathetic and very patient, taking the time to help me. They understood and created a circumstance which would help me so the Operation could take place.

The Operation was quick and totally painless; the staff checked I was comfortable beforehand and then all I experienced were bright lights and very slight movement sensations. My eye was not painful afterwards, there was some eye watering but that settled down.

I have to return for a check-up this week after which I am keen to get the second eye done. The difference in vision is spectacular and I now feel confident in Caring Duties again.

Don’t hesitate to book in here as this Clinic is an example of how good practice should be conducted. The Staff are friendly and helpful; I felt safe and cared for throughout.
