"They were obviously prepared to go "the extra mile""

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Endoscopy and day care

(as a service user),

I was admitted for a colonoscopy in the Ambulatory Care Unit in early May.

The information leaflets I had been sent beforehand were very helpful and explained the procedure clearly.

All the staff who took care of me and took me through the procedure were very professional and, just as importantly, very kind. That made what was not the most agreeable of experiences more bearable. Thank you all very much!

When I was in the recovery room I was unwell and and felt very faint. The nurses were obviously at the end of the shift and getting ready to go home. They immediately took care of me and checked me. I did not leave until the nurse was sure I was well. They were obviously prepared to go "the extra mile". Again thank you all very much!

First class care!

Thank you for taking time to provide feedback on your recent experience.

It is reassuring that you felt you were well cared for when you attended Endoscopy for this procedure.

I will ensure your feedback is shared with the team.

Regards
