"What a shambles"

About: Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital NHS Foundation Trust

(as a service user),

My mother is disabled...in a wheelchair and there are no blue parking spaces available. End up on top floor of multistory car park. I'm disabled too with several rods and screws in my back and pushing a wheelchair is a big no no but its for my mother. In the rain, top floor of car park...no signage to exit. When we finally find it, there is no path through for wheelchair so have to push chair twice the length of the car park to the exit. Get there and the lift is faulty. Why didn't it say this at the entrance? Had to go down the exit slope, in the rain, holding on to a run away wheelchair with a diseased back is not much fun! Thank fully another patient went slowly in front to make sure the route was clear. Then the footpaths were nigh on impossible as the dropped kerbs are too high and again my back has suffered.

Nice trick of waiting 2 hours between tests and appointment too...that's extra parking money.

It seems to me like the budgets have been prioritised badly, and they are not spending enough money on maintenance.

Can't fault the clinical care thankfully.
