About: Queen's Hospital (Romford)

What I liked

In early March this year I was admitted to Queens Hospital (neurosurgery) as an emergency case suffering a Subarachnoid Haemorrhage.

Everyone involved in my care from the neurosurgery/neurovascular team who fixed the brain aneurysm causing the problem, to all the staff working on ward Sahara B involved in my ongoing treatment and care were excellent.

I'd like to express my thanks and appreciation for the treatment, care and support I received during my 2 week stay. I'm now making a good recovery thanks to the skill and dedication of these wonderful people.

I didn’t know we had a neurosciences centre in Romford, I'm really glad we do.

What could be improved

Nothing related to my care, it was all Great.

Car parking isnt that good and the roads block up getting into Queens at peak times.

Anything else?

Queens have now saved my life twice,

In 2009 I walked into A and E having a heart attack, the Queens cardiac team stabilised me ready for Blue Light transfer to the London Chest Hospital.

And now they save me from a Brain Haemorrhage...

All I can say is the NHS is amazing in an emergency

Big thanks to all at Queens...
