What I liked

Very good experience, much better than I'd expected. I was very nervous about the general anaesthetic and everyone was kind and caring, from junior to senior staff. Couldn't have been better.

What could be improved

Appointment booking system was dreadful. Had three or four changed and cancelled dates. Phone call on the day to see if I could come in earlier due to a cancellation was stressful because the message was unclear and the number left for me to call back on totally unintelligible. Please speak more slowly. Remember patients might be stressed on the day.

We're really glad to hear that the procedure went well and we hope that you continue to make a full recovery. We very much take your point about the appointment booking and in trying to be helpful, our staff could have been a bit more thoughtful about what they were doing. We'll make sure that they get your feedback, as will the ward team.
