"Rude, uncaring staff with no regard for patient..."

About: Western Eye Hospital

What I liked

Receptionist was polite and waiting time short

What could be improved

Triage nurse was disinterested and didn' t seem to want to listen to me at all. Unfortunately the doctor was even worse, shouting at me during the eye exam to keep my eyes still and at one point reached over and very roughly pushed my eyelid up with his fingers. In any other circumstances I'd have considered this assault.

The doctor was very dismissive of my problem and told me there was nothing wrong with my eyes despite the fact my vision had deteriorated badly and that nothing could be done.

I went to my optician the same day, who was much more thorough and diagnosed me with a sudden myopic shift and has referred me to an opthalmolgist. Needless to say this won't be ar the Western Eye.

Anything else?

An awful experience - I would not reccomend this hospital to anyone.
