What could be improved
I wasn't suprised to read Tina's comments regarding the nature of her scan and the privacy afforded her. I myself had a similar experience in that I attended for an internal scan in March 2012 and was suprised to find that there were 2 nurses in the room - one who introduced herself and the other who did not. Following the scan I found that I had to ask if there was any information that could be given to me there and then and I was told "bascially everything looks alright but you'll have to wait until we put our report together" - not really very reassuring!
That said, I have visited Cossham's physiotherapy dept on a number of occasions and have always received A1 advice/attention/treatment - indeed only today I have had to telephone (without my NHS number or any other information) and the general receptionist was very helpful, supplying me with the relevant contact numbers and the ideal way to proceed.
All in all I think Cossham do a great job but, if I had to choose the appointment for which I was afforded the most privacy/information/courtesey, I would choose the former although, generally speaking, I think its not unreasonable to expect a certain level of service regardless of the nature of the appointment.
"Excellant in some depts but much room for..."
