What I liked

Just wanted to say that I've recently had a minor op in the daycase ctr at Corbett Hospital and what a really pleasant experience it was. From going to outpatients at RHH I received choice of daycase dates to fit in with my working life and the team were all wonderful at all times. The dressing patch put on for 10 days following surgery was waterproof - wonderful - I could still have a shower and wash my hair - so I felt normal for work too! Great experience - Thanks to all in the Dermatology Team.

All of the nursing and clinical staff were absolutely wonderful, you're really treated as a "person" with great consideration that as well as needing a treatment - you also have a life that needs to fit in with it somehow!

Overall A huge thank you to the dermatology team - Great experience here!

What could be improved

The only thing I'd add as a point for improvement, was that although I'd also planned my follow up date whilst at my first consultaion with the dermatology team for f/u @ RHH after the op (fab idea) - which was great because I had worked all my work appointments around the date that we'd agreed, however, a couple of days ago that was changed by the hospital without a further choice offered - just a letter giving me a different date and time, Luckily, however, I've managed to work my work appointments around the new date without too much difficulty but that was more luck that anything. So over all 8/10 - would have most definitely been a 10/10 if the f/u appointment date could have been honoured or even a reason explaning the change would have been nice.

Thank you for rating your visit to Corbett Hospital so highly. We are pleased your minor operation was such a success and we will be very happy to pass your comments onto the Dermatology team.

Unfortunately there are occasions when we have to re-schedule appointments at short notice and realise this can sometimes be inconvenient for our patients. Rescheduling could be due to staff sickness, annual leave or study leave.

We do our best to arrange a new appointment as soon as possible and to let our patients know of the change at the earliest opportunity to allow them time to make the necessary arrangements to attend.
