I have a chronic condition that puts me at extra risk of infections and I’ve needed to be admitted to hospital more than once.

I recently developed a temperature during the night.

Only the fact that I could log onto the electronic booking system at seven fifteen and book to see a GP around nine am the same day saved me from another trip to hosptal. The professional and caring GP I saw quickly identified the source of infection and we started antibiotics immediately with good effect as my temperature and other symptoms quickly resolved. My nurse specialist from the hospital was amazed at how smoothly this whole process works at Forest Practice. She even asked if this was really an NHS GP! So grateful for the way this practice holds back so many appointments for same day so you can see a doctor when you really need to rather than two weeks later!
