"Readmitted after surgical wounded became infected"

About: Torbay Hospital / General surgery

The treatment I received in Cromie Ward was outstanding. I was there for a week and the entire team worked well together. The food was nourishing, hot, tasty and served with a smile. I found some of the experiences quite upsetting and was a bit of a baby but was treated in a caring way which helped enormously.

All ward staff were very well trained and adhered to all the protocols regarding monitoring and hygiene. I came away (not only healthier than when admitted!) with a lasting impression of the incredible care and compassion given to all patients - regardless of whether their conditions were in part self-inflicted.
