"Coming here gives me a break from my home life"

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Coming here gives me a break from my home life. I wasn't sure if I would like it at first and to be honest it did take me a couple of  weeks to settle in, but I really enjoy coming now as there's always various things to do,   and I suppose my wife can relax when I am here. I've said this many times before, the staff here have patience of  saints.

It is heartening to hear that once you had got settled into a routine of attending the day service, you quickly felt the benefits for you and for your main carer.
