What I liked
My initial and follow up appointments (2 weeks later) were very good - process ran very smoothly.
What could be improved
My final appointment to have the plaster cast removed was disappointing. The joint was not x-rayed to ensure it had completely healed (doctor just assumed it had). Consultation was very brief and was just told to go away and use it, offered no advice as to how it would feel and no exercises suggested or indication of how much I should use and/or rest it. I have subsequently had some swelling and discomfort which I have been told is normal by other people who have bad broken bones but it would have been reassuring and less worrying to have been told that by qualified staff.
"Initially good but let down by final appointment."
