I would like firstly to say that my elderly relative was care for over month within the Larkfield unit ward 3 and firstly what wonderful staff they are and treated my loved one with the upmost care and attention throughout his care. Having no family in the uk and being elderly myself made it difficult to visit every day but I felt at ease that my loved one was in good hands, I would like to make special thanks to a wonderful nurse whom my brother often spoke very highly of and having witnessed this myself nurse Laura often spent time with my brother making him feel very special and like he was the only one in her care which I knew was not the case as she was often very busy but still took the time to spend with my brother even being there with him as he passed away, Laura was very kind caring and often made my brother and myself feel at ease and I just wanted to say a big thank you to Laura,
Laura is worth her weight in gold as are the other staff on this ward and would like to send my appreciation to all but Laura especially as she was there with me the night my brother had passed making my horrible experience easier to deal with.
Thanks to Laura and the staff at ward 4 in Larkfield unit
"Kind, caring and made us feel at ease"
