What I liked

I have experienced private healthcare and I have to say that my experience of Emersons Green NHS Centre was very similar to that of private healthcare.

The ward was exceptionally clean.

The staff were very attentive, polite, sensitive and helpful.

My overall experience was pleasant given the unpleasant operation I had to go through.

What could be improved

I have an allergy to gluten and therefore I had to provide my own snack for when I came round from the operation as the only thing the centre provided was sandwiches. I would like to see that everyone's dietary needs are catered for in the future. My operation was not an emergency so there was plenty of time to arrange alternative foods. Does the hospital generally not cater for various dietary requirements? I find that hard to believe in this day and age.
