"Over 2.5 hours wait for a blood test"

About: Royal Free Hospital

Barnet GPs no longer provide blood tests, therefore the walk-in at the Royal Free Hospital is the only valid option, while any appointments available at other hospitals go as far as 3 weeks forward the nearest. There were no less than 2.5 hours wait! I had to wait 15 minutes standing in line just to get my ticket, then had to wait further from 11.30am to 2 pm to get the actual test (which took 2 minutes). No chairs at the waiting area, which stretched throughout the corridors - mothers were carrying their babies, older people barely stood. Truly horrific.

Hello

Thank you for taking time to leave a review, I am really sorry for the wait you describe as it falls short of the standard we set ourselves.

I will share your review so staff who I know will be disappointed with the care you describe.

Kind Regards

Richard
