What I liked

I attended the Day Case Unit at Tiverton Hospital for the excision of a hydrocele .I had previously attended the Unit for a pre-op.appointment with a nursing sister which i found very informative and reassuring .On the day of the operation I found all the team dealing with me to be very professional ,yet friendly and they kept me informed as to what would happen at each stage. I met one fo the doctors prior to the operation as well as the anaesthetist. I was treated with dignity and sensitivity throughout. I had seen my consultant a month earlier at the RD&E who was also excellent and confirmed the diagnosis and procedure that was to follow. I wish to thank all of those involved for their first class care and treatment.
