"Horrible experience"

About: Leicester Royal Infirmary / Colorectal surgery

(as the patient),

I knew as soon as the symptoms started what was wrong, I was diagnosed with Bowel Cancer.

Consultant excellent, everything pre operation was very thorough, kept informed about everything, every one I met was very kind. Had the op, that was successful, going on to the ward everything went down hill, it was awful, wasn’t very clean. I felt there was not enough nurses, and I could not understand some of them and they couldn't understand me. I appreciate it’s a very busy busy ward, but it needs sorting.

I have just been in for a second op, with no information before or after, ward just the same, horrible experience.
