"Terrrific, helpful and caring staff who clearly..."

About: Solihull Hospital

What I liked

Upon entering the corridor below the Day procedures unit, a very helpful chap asked me if i was looking for Day Procedures/..i answered "Yes!"..and he asked "are you steve?".. i was astonished!.. He introduced himself the staff nurse from that ward and showed me up stairs..hed obviously done his homework the previous day-he really made me feel welcome and it was just that personal touch that made all the difference to my confidence-showing that he genuinely cares or his patients.

Overall, throughout the day, he and the other staff were absolutely tremendous. The Anaesthnatist introduced himself amongst others and really displayed an excellent and high quality duty of care to me....in particular the staff nurse, who is clearly an asset to the hospotal and should be commended for being so.

What could be improved

The stale / out of date biscuits were not good but hey.. if you have'nt eaten for 18 hours, anything you can eat is good lol!

Dear infinitio

Thank you for taking the time to give us your feedback and we are delighted to hear your stay with us was a positive one. We are glad that you received excellent care, which we strive to give to all our patients. I will ensure the staff in the Day Procedures see your feedback and they will try to ensure patients are not given stale biscuits in the future!

Thanks again

Thank you for your feedback and we are delighted to hear how happy you were with the treatment given by our staff. I will ensure the department are aware the biscuits are stale as after not eating for that long the least we could have given you was a fresh biscuit.
