"Wonderful staff"

About: St Lukes Hospice

(as a relative),

My husband past away just over a week ago and I wanted to thank the wonderful staff at St Lukes. He is now not in pain anymore and I honestly feel like a wave of calm has come over me now. The staff were absolutely wonderful I have never known such care.

Why St Lukes do not get any form of Government grant is beyond me as they all do such a wonderful job. I cant even pick any individual staff member out as they are all wonderful. They were there all the time for us, once they even called us back in at 5 am in the morning as they thought it was time and then apologised as my husband rallied, I said please don't apologise. Another time they even wanted to make me up a bed and I told them no, i just sat in the chair next to my husbands bed. They staff brought me a blanket and made sure I was comfortable even though I wasn't even the patient.

They are all absolutely wonderful.

time for you. Your feedback will be shared with all the staff in the inpatient unit.

In response to your comment about government grant; we are a charitable organisation who rely on the generousity of the community. However we do recieve 24% of income from contracts with Harrow and Brent Clinical Commisioning Groups.

We aim to support all of our patients, families and carers
