"Constantly fobbed off by staff whenever we..."

About: Wycombe Hospital

What I liked

The food looked appetising. There were one or two pleasant members of staff but they were few and far between.

What could be improved

General care and empathy towards patients. The attitude of the majority of nurses was very bad, especially towards my mother. One male nurse shouted at her when her arms were flailing as she was in so much pain.

Anything else?

My family and I complained about the lack of care my mother was receiving. After this she was, very subtly, ostracised and ignored, her panic button was disabled (or ignored - there were conflicting excuses). I am loathe to outline the full extent of our complaints as then the staff will know who she is and, as she is still a patient, I would not like her to be targeted any more than she has been. I cannot wait for her to be discharged and will do my utmost to stop her being re-admitted to this hospital at any stage.
