"Ward 2C Crosshouse hospital"

About: Crosshouse Hospital / Trauma & orthopaedics

(as the patient),

I was admitted to ward 2C in Crosshouse hospital following a horse riding incident where I broke my back, the staff in 2C were outstanding, compassionate, caring, thoughtful, kind everything you wish for when going into hospital. I has to use a bed slipper as I was immobile I was crying and a bit upset when the nurse Gillian came in and calmed me down she also gave me my fragmin injection. I am so scared of needles but she put me so at ease. All the other staff Kayleigh, Nikki, Caris, Wendy, Elaine, Lorraine, Dr Harriet, Emma even the domestics were fantastic every staff member was just so kind and caring I felt so at ease, my pain relief was managed fantastic I wasn’t left in discomfort at all ever 20/10 for those girls in 2c they were outstanding x
