"Will be making a formal complaint due to..."

Booked a cervical screening for today 24th April 2019 at 8:45am using the myGP app which had previously been recommended by the Practice. This was supposed to make it easier to book appts as staff usually never answer the phone. I arrived a few minutes early for my appt and stood at the reception where two staff members where talking and laughing with another woman (who I learned was the ANP who I booked my appt with). I was ignored for a while as they chatted and laughed then one of the women eventually turned to me and asked how she could help. After confirming my name and appointment details, I was asked to sit at the end of the hall while they carried on talking and laughing. A few minutes later, the ANP left the women, walked past me and went through a set of doors. I then continued to sit there waiting nervously. Eventually, the staff member that confirmed my name shouted down the hall at me that I should go to room 9. Mind you, I was all the way down the end. I didn't even know where to go. I stood up and walked back to reception, and then started looking at all the doors. It was another patient that directed me where to go. The staff were nonchalant which made me more nervous but I thought it was important I get a cervical screening. With the help of the patient. I finally went into the room where I saw who my appointment was with. I said "Good Morning" and she responded "Take a seat". I thought she was not very friendly but I quietly sat down as I suppose she was there to do a job and not be friendly to patients. She asked why I came and I said I booked a cervical screening. Immediately she said that she had thought I was someone else. She said that there must have been a mistake as she was expecting a different patient. I told her that I booked through myGP app and she said: (I am paraphrasing as best as I can remember) "Right..well I don't deal with such appts. The nurses do those. I am a nurse too but an ANP - a Nurse Practitioner - so I can't do it. Let me speak to someone about this". Then she walked out and left me there. I was surprised because the app gave me the option to book and I also advised when booking that it was for a "cervical screening". I had put off the appointment since Dec 2018 as I was nervous and had only just got the courage to attend the clinic only to be treated like I was not important enough. She came back after a few minutes and said that like she already told me, I would have to see a nurse and to "go to reception and they will deal with it". I was so surprised and frustrated that I had prepared myself for this and she was so dismissive. I went to reception who tried to make it seem like it was my fault for booking on the app. I said that I even made a note of the type of appt when I booked. I said that even when I called, they never pick up and it leads to an automated system. I said I would be making a complain. Tbh, this has put me off getting a cervical screening.
