Thanks where thanks are due: thank you, you provide an excellent, caring service.

I have, and would willing continue to, recommend you to others.

Having previously been registered at neighbouring doctors' surgeries, I was genuinely surprised by how much better a surgery could be.

My son had fairly complicated needs that our previous GP felt unable to help with, which would have meant monthly visits to a specialist over an hour's drive away.

This surgery had a much more accommodating approach, liaising with the specialist, and enabling my son to get the treatment he needed right here in the community.

I too received wonderful care.

I had been unaware that I had a medical issue, I had just felt a little tired.

Yet as a new patient I saw a doctor for a once over and the GP at Poplar took this tiredness seriously, ran some tests, ran some more tests and identified a relatively rare condition.

The consultant I now see was mightily impressed both with the original diagnosis and with the detailed information sent by the surgery to the hospital.

In his words, "This is an uncommon disease.

Medical students might have had 15 minutes of one lecture covering this, or maybe not, so diagnosis is not inevitable.

And all the test information you have here - well, my job has pretty much been done!"

As a family, we have had fab service from the nurses too, for inoculations, smears and general advice.

They are a friendly, efficient bunch who engender trust. The reception staff are polite, approachable and manage to look unflustered even when phones are ringing and patients clustering in front of them.

I have always been treated with kindness and respect.
