"Horrible practice"

About: Dr Ma Sims' Practice

Horrible practice with very low quality of service. Impossible to get appointment, doctors are rushed to finish with you within few seconds, they never explain anything about your condition nor they offer any advice. They probably get more money by squeezing patients in few seconds appointments which reduces dramatically the quality of care. They are always refuse to give proper treatment like referrals to specialists and lab tests, as they probably get bonus when they save money for the NHS at the expense of our health. They need a lesson to learn how other doctors behave and how they should behave as they are miles away from providing decent quality care.

Thank you for taking the time to post your comments on this site. I am sorry that you feel so strongly that you have received a low quality of service. I would like to assure you that this practice never operates it's service based on what money it can earn. We are not paid more for squeezing patients in and we do not receive bonuses for not using secondary care services. All of our healthcare team make their decision based on the clinical need of the patient sitting in front of them.

I am assuming because of your extreme dissatisfaction with the service we have provided for you that you are no longer a patient here but if you are still a patient I would like to invite you in for a discussion with me regarding your issues and I would like to opportunity to try and resolve matters for you. Please do not hesitate to contact me by ringing the surgery number and selecting option 6. Kind regards, Practice Manager, Dr Sims and Partners
