"Had a brain tumour op late December 2018"

About: Royal Preston Hospital / Neurology

was given very positive information of the out come of the operation which very informative

However when nurses rang me at home and left messages on the AP they talked so quickly we had to play the recorded 5-6 times to understand who was calling if they talked slowly that would be so helpfully

.!i found that non of the nurses left there names they used the handle ii am a nurse from so and so , several occasions we had to go on the internet and look up the appropriate person

Thank you for sharing this with us and please accept our apologies.

In future if you are struggling to obtain information from any of the departments here at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals please just contact our Patient Advice and Liaison Service (PALS) on 01772 522972 who will do their best to assist.

PALS is open Monday to Friday 9 - 4pm and there is a voicemail facility outside those hours.
