"A wonderful Team"

Myself and my family became patients of Berkley Practice in 2003, since this time we continue to have nothing but praise for the medical, nursing and reception team at this GP practice. I say this because when any member of our family have required medical advice or attention we have always received the very best attention from a very understanding and caring team who always treat us with courtesy and with an understanding of our need for medical attention. It was due to the efficiency of this GP practice that my husband has hopefully been cured of bowel cancer. He visited a

GP at Berkley practice in 2009 with concerns about his passing unexplained blood rectally.

. Thankfully, my husbands symptoms caused concern for the GP on duty who carried out a full examination and without causing panic for my husband she explained that due to my husbands age it might be advisable if she referred him for further investigations to establish the cause of his symptoms, which she did so immediately.

Thankfully, her efficiency and urgency to refer my husband to a surgical consultant saved his life. My husband saw a surgical consultant the following week and following this consultation several scans were carried out and bowel cancer was diagnosed and major surgery followed.

Thanks to this wonderful GP at Berkley practice now almost ten years on and my husband is still well and strong.

On his most recent visit to see his GP this week with two minor health concerns , as always we were both politely welcomed by the receptionist on duty and by the GP who took time and patience to listen to my husbands health problems. Again following a thorough examination for my husband our very caring GP reached a diagnosis and treatment was prescribed. As for myself,

I too have nothing but praise for the medical and admin staff at Berkley /Kingfisher practice.

As in the past 7 years I have also depended on the care and expertise of these wonderful GPs. and the practice team for their on going pain relief therapy for my osteoarthritis of my spine and feet. Also for their numerous referrals to orthopaedics for my hips and knee replacements . It is a relief to know that our GP practice is fully aware of the medical needs of people in their later years when age related conditions are a concern for many patients like my husband and myself.

As patients of this GP practice we feel so fortunate to have a GP practice who thankfully take our older years into consideration and continue to try their utmost to keep us as well as possible in our later years. so on behalf of myself my husband and my sons I would like to offer our sincere congratulations to this caring team on the running of a very caring and efficient GP practice, Thank you to all our caring medical, nursing and administration team at Berkly/Kingfisher Practice
