About: Malton Community Hospital

What I liked

I was given an ultrasound scan on Friday morning, 27th April. Due to possible dehydration, the prior consumption of fluids did not produce the responses desired for the scan at the first attempt. After two attempts of consuming more fluid and the passage of considerable time, the required conditions were achieved.

At all stages of the process the nurse was helpful and encouraging and was clearly determined to get a good set of scans.

I could not have wished for better attention and it leaves me with an impression of caring and competence.

We hear a great deal about reorganization and budgets for the NHS in the press, but for me, having the right people with good attitudes is what it is all about.
