"Womens service Rampton International Womens day"

About: Rampton Hospital

(as the patient),

Whenever the Staff at the Diamond resource centre (DRC ) Put on an event for Patients it is fantastic. Everyone is included in the planning if they want to be. The Staff include us all and everyone who wants to can get involved. The best one we have done is the International Women’s Day which we did on the 7th March. There were stalls showing what is here for us. Visitors, speakers, bands and choir loads of fruit and scones... it was a mazing. This kind of activity helps us on our recovery pathway

Hi. Thanks for this posting. It is always good to hear about an event at the DRC. I know how much they mean to Patients. It is also great to hear that you were involved in the planing. I am sure having Patients doing this helps any event to be even more successful. Re the Staff, I have seen for myself how hard they work and always go the extra mile to make them not only successful but meaningful and most importantly enjoyable

thank you for highlighting the celebrations held at DRC to celebrate International Women's Day. it was great to see patients, ward based staff, DRC staff, senior managers and members of the board interacting, sharing ideas, joys and challenges of being a woman. many thanks to all the patients who provided presentations on their iconic women and contributed to making others aware of a gender-balanced world. thank you for a creating #BalanceforBetter.

Thank you for this. It was an inspiring day. I was very impressed by how women were able to explain what inspired and encouraged them. There were important lessons for us all.

Best wishes.

Peter

Thank you for posting.

Well when you hear comments from patients about the positive way in which we include everyone in our events then it shows we are doing it right, we provide a valuable service for the women at DRC not only on special events but on a day to day basis. We run sessions and functions daily and always try to make sure with the help from site managers they go ahead and are meaningful and relevant to the patients.

Best wishes

Kath
