(as the patient),

I spent 2 days, 1 night, in Ward 23 under investigation for angina. All the staff - cleaners, carers, nurses, doctors - were superb.   They were friendly, supportive, informative, professional, efficient, and caring. Julie, the nurse who looked after me, was excellent, and Una, the nurse practitioner who took time to explain everything to me before I was discharged, was equally good. And many thanks to Dr Francis, the consultant who diagnosed my problem and sorted out the treatment. They all made my stay so much easier than it might otherwise have been.   The only downside was the porridge at breakfast, but it was my choice to have it, twice.

Thank you for finding the time to share your experience of your admission to ward 23. I'm very sorry to read that you were admitted to hospital but pleased and proud to read that you found the staff on ward 23, friendly, supportive, informative, professional, efficient and caring.

On behalf of everyone on ward 23, we wish you a full recovery following your admission and I will share your story with all members of our ward 23 team (including domestic team) and especially Julie, Una and Dr Francis.

I'm sorry the porridge was a letdown and I'm afraid if its the brand, then I probably can't influence a change there but if the issue is that the porridge was cold or something along those lines. I can definitely resolve that, so contact me on 01592 729923 and we can fix that for patients in the future.
