"Cardiology Appointments"

About: Manchester Royal Infirmary

Ive been waiting since February for a cardiology appointment and the appointments keep being cancelled.

The first letter said please complete the information on the the reverse of this letter which was blank, please complete the enclosed form: not enclosed.

The latest appointment has been cancelled to August as the consultant is now on leave.

May I suggest that like the vast majority of us, the consultant keeps his appointments and is managed to manage his leave.

Quite simply, why can’t he block book and work the appointment around leave already booked. It’s so Dickensian to operate in the way you currently are. Perhaps he should be billed for wasting my time and yours and the taxpayers cash from all the extra letters I’ve received. The waste of time, money and resources this cause is surely something that cannot be tolerated in this day and age. Anyway, I’m off to Salford Royal- I completely give up on MRIN.

Your general reputation is pretty poor anyway.
