My Mum was taken ill suddenly whilst staying here in Liverpool with me. From the ambulance crew onwards, without exception, everyone involved in her care was brilliant - introduced themselves to her, explained what was happening, took care to maintain her privacy during every examination, asked for her permission each time and explained to her the results. She's an active 87 year old, and I got the feeling that they took every bit as much care of her as they would have anyone else - maybe even more - and this was in such stark contrast to her treatment at her own GPs where she lives down in St Albans. Interestingly, during the course of looking at scans of her tummy for the problem she had this week, the team at Aintree hospital discovered a very significant problem with her lungs, which has explained the persistent (3+ months) cough that her own GP had made her feel small about when she went to see him about (at my insistence) a number of weeks ago, after having seen that advert advising people to get checked out if a cough lasts more than three weeks. We as a family are all so grateful to the entire team at Fazakerley; your vigilance has saved my Mum's life when her own GP missed a chance to do so, and we will never have the words to express how grateful we are to you, for everything. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
"Brilliant care - wonderful staff"
