"In-stay at Urology ward - exceptional"

Just spent several days in Ward 12C Urology for a procedure, but my observations also cover care I observed for other patients too.

The staff at all levels including support staff, healthcare assistants, nursing staff, and medical staff including those in theatre were highly experienced, strongly skilled, prompt, efficient, organised but most importantly were compassionate in all they did, and were clearly dedicated to their work, which was delivered with good humour at all times.

Being in hospital cannot be the best of personal experiences, with stress, pain and discomfort, but the experience was transformed by the staff. Just a couple of observations: (1) please improve the signage and wayfinding, and make sure patient letters include better instructions in this regard; (2) perhaps the pharmacy department could benefit from additional resources.
