"Call not answered"

About: General practices in Greater Glasgow & Clyde

(as a service user),

I wanted to make an appointment with Merrylee Medical GP practice as I need further investigations.

I waited 1/2 an hour on the phone call and was repeatedly told whilst holding that all receptionists are busy. I did not get my call answered as held on to 6pm and practice then shut.

I had the same issue several months ago when trying to make appointment for my son.

Dear Violetgray

I am sorry that you are unable to arrange an appointment at your GP Surgery.

As GPs are independent contractors, the best person to deal with the issues relating to a practice is the Practice Manager of your surgery – they are responsible for feedback and complaints for their surgery.
