"I wasn't left in the dark"

About: Borders General Hospital / Accident & Emergency

(as the patient),

I just wanted to pass along some positive feedback from my visit to a&e. I visited on a Saturday at around 3pm. I had called nhs 24 for advice on whether my problem qualified me to go over to the hospital. I was apprehensive about going as I didn't want to waste time/resources but I was made to feel by everyone I came in contact with that I had every right to seek help. I was in a lot of pain and feel that this was recognised and empathised with. I was alone and felt communicated with through the whole process so I wasn't left in the dark as to my treatment.
