"Immense comfort to us at a very difficult time"

About: Kilbryde Hospice

(as a relative),

I wanted to share how amazing the staff were at the Hospice. My mother in law spent the last 5 days of her life in the Hospice and the clinical care and support she received was beyond what words can express. We as her family were able to go home in the evening knowing that she was in being looking after at every level and this was of immense comfort to us all as well as giving us a feeling of security at a very difficult time.

Dear Hay Alan

Thank you very much for taking the time to post your story on Care Opinion. In my role as Clinical Services Manager at Kilbryde Hospice it is very encouraging to hear that the care your mother in law received was "beyond what words can express". We continually strive to deliver specialist palliative care to all patient and families at Kilbryde at this difficult time and I'm glad this was the case for your family. I'm relieved that you were able to leave the hospice reassured that your mother in law was being well cared for. This is our aim.

Feedback like this is very beneficial to our team who deliver the care directly and indirectly to patients and families.. I will pass on your kind words to the team. This will give them an enormous boost.

Kind regards

Margaret Mary Cowan
