"Breast Care Department, Old Building"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Diagnostic Imaging

(as a service user),

I was anxious as I was told the department wasn't near any disabled parking spaces, so Chris who worked in the department came and got me to show me the quickest way to get there, as I can't  walk very far. She was so lovely and helpful and organised a porter to take me back in a wheelchair as I was tired from standing. The two ladies who scanned my breasts were also very nice, even though they were frustrated as the database and scanner wasn't working properly and my scan took twice as long as it should and was painful squashing my breasts to scan more times than they should have due to the machine playing up. I was given a cup of tea after my scan and felt that the staff really cared about their patients. Thank you.
