"Awful...I refuse to go to my follow up appointment..."

About: Manchester Royal Eye Hospital

What I liked

The new building is very impressive. A lot of money has obviously been spent on it.

What could be improved

Everything...especially signposting!! And parking.

Anything else?

There were a limited number of appointments available...which meant I needed to take time off work to be seen. I turned up to my appointment early and still ended up waiting around for 2.5 hours to be seen by the doctor, with no pre warning or explanation for the delay. Then to top it all off my appointment lasted all of 5minutes and when I asked questions about my diagnosis or it's cause I was simply handed a leaflet. Too much money has been spent on building an impressive hospital...and not enought has been spent on staffing it!!
