"Increased knowledge about diagnosis and how to support"

About: Learning Disabilities / Community Learning disability team (CLDT)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Below is a summary from a carer who completed a feedback form. They are talking about the experiences of the service user and the care they received from the Learning Disabilities Community Team:

I was happy with where we were met for care. The information we were given was clear and useful. I was treated with respect and I am happy with the help I received.

Something positive that has changed following the care provided by the Community Learning Disability Team is that the staff are more knowledgeable about diagnosis and how to support, it helps my carers / support workers to help me. There is nothing I can suggest that you could do better.

I would be extremely likely to recommend this service to friends and family if they needed this care or similar treatment.

Thank you for the positive comments you have put on your feedback questionnaire.

It is very heartening to hear that we have helped make a positive change in how you are supported, and that you feel you were treated with respect. We will ensure that the staff involved are informed of your feedback.

It is very helpful for us to receive feedback as it helps us to continue to improve our services.
