Last November I had the misfortune to sustain a TIA whilst on holiday in Paignton. The events of that day are a complete blur to me but I am informed by my wife that she and her sister brought me to the A & E at Torbay Hospital whereupon I received the most prompt and effective assessment, examination and treatment culminating in my being admitted to the George Earle Ward where I remained for four days. Following treatment I was discharged and I am delighted to tell you that I have made a full recovery which, in no small way, is a reflection of the care, efficiency and professionalism of your staff at Torbay Hospital and, in particular, the staff of the George Earle Ward.
Throughout my stay in the George Earle Ward, I received the utmost level of care and attention from all members of staff whether they were catering, porters, nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, or medical and I extend my grateful thanks to them all.
"Exemplary level of care following my TIA"
