"Pharmacy Dept needs a thorough overhall."

About: Western Eye Hospital

The care and expertise of the Doctors and nurses is second to none. However, the Pharmacy Dept I find extremely inefficient in that I have waited 10 days for Voriconazole drops which to date have still not been forthcoming. The Consultant prescribes these drops impressing on me how important they are for treating a fungal infection. The Pharmacy Dept received the REQUEST on 22nd

March and the actual prescription on 25th March, and yet a further prescription on the 29th. They were asked to telephone me when the drops arrived which hasn't happened. Theoretically I have been waiting for these drops for 10 days, consequently my eye has not been treated with an antifungal agent, putting it at enormous risk of fungal infection which can have serious consequences.
