About: Leicester General Hospital

What could be improved

i was due for my first general scan on the 18th april. a few weeks before i cancelled the downs syndrome scan over the phone which was supposed to be the 23rd april. all this happened without a problem. when it came to the 18th i had to travel 20 miles from my home to the hospital. when i got to the hospital my appointment had been cancelled. they also tried to tell me that my appointments were the other way round so that my downs syndrome scan was on the 18th. also they told me to go to the leicester royal infirmary hospital for my downs syndrome scan when the general hospital was the one i chose to have my child. i was very disappointed with this service and am hoping to change to another hospital for birth.
