I have lots of medical issues and need alot of medications.
l have seen my doctor alot, shes an amazing doctor, she helped me so much with my depression and anxiety.
And is continuing to help me through my issues.
Also the nurse has also been a great help with my diabetes.
They both help me so much and yes sometimes it is hard to get appointments with them and yes sometimes l can wait an hour to see my doctor, but l dont mind waiting as l know that they will listen to all my problems and give me so much advice when l do get to see them.
The receptionists are lovely and always try to help when they can.
I must admit though when myself, husband and young daughter first joined the surgery, l needed to get to see a doctor, l called the surgery and spoke to a receptionist who booked me an appointment with a different gp, but when l called the surgery to confirm the appt and time with the gp, it was discovered that the receptionist hadn't booked it and all the appointments had gone so l had to wait for another appt.
I was really cross and lm afraid to say that l asked to speak to the practice manager, something which l hate.
After the mistake was all sorted out, l felt so terrible that when l did have my appt, l not only apologised to the manager and the receptionist, l also got them a box of biscuits. They deal with hundreds of phone calls and face to face with patients, so they are entitled to make an odd mistake. I haven't had any problems since and they are always very polite and helpful.
Thankyou to all the staff there but in my case especially my doctor and the nurse.
Thank you all for all your hard work.
"Great service"
