What I liked

I was totally dissatisfied wity the care provided on lyndon 1. To my knowlege rooms are suppose to be cleaned everyday. Beds are suppose to be changed everyday and the steriliser are to be changed everyday.I was there on tuesday and my bed had not be changed until saturday. I had to ask for my childs cot to be changed but was not aware that it should have been changed everyday. My room was not cleaned everyday. Staff missed my childs medication on several occasions and had to play catch up with it. I found that they were very unorganised and very lazy. They would all sit and talk amoungst themselves and even talk about parents. I am not saying this was every nurse but it was the morjority. They seemed very laid back and very unorganised. I did not feel that my child was in safe hands and did not want to leave the hospital most the time as i felt they could not be trusted. I am not happy at all.

What could be improved

Be more organised. Need more staff. mojority of staff not doing what they should be doing. Stick to procedures beds change room cleaned every day

Anything else?

They would misplace paper work and miss medication i find this very serious
