As a person who lives outside the area covered by Sandwell Hospital,I was anxious when attending my appointment at the Endoscopy Unit on Wednesday 20th March 2019.
Having reached the unit, it was quiet, calm and spotless.
The health professional I was to see and right from the first introduction my fears and anxiousness disappeared.
His manner and demeanour was immaculate.
Everything was explained to me in language I fully understood.
Throughout the procedure the health professional spoke calmly and quietly to me explaining every detail, I felt very at ease and relaxed.
I would like to thank him for his most professional approach to his speciality, it was a pleasure to meet him.
