"Blood testing"

About: St Marks Hospital

From previous experience, in blood testing here, I arrived at 07H30, knowing that the clinic does not open until 08H30 - just to get a reasonable place in the queue

When the doors opened 08H25 , there must have been 40 to 50 people waiting in the queue, some of those, not myself, were quite infirm

Could you consider, making the early part of the session ( Maybe 08H30until 09H300) for those either on fasting blood testing, or those that need to go to work afterwards

Freeing up time later for those that are less "urgent"

Clearly a much needed service,

The "Treatment" given was good, just needs a bit more thought on the planning / Administration

Thank you for leaving a comment, I have discussed this with the phlebotomy manager and a large portion of our patients are on fasting bloods so it would be difficult to keep these patients to an hour, we are looking at an IT system that can help with managing the queues and waiting time but this is in the next phase of works
