About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / Dermatology

(as the patient),

It's about a skin cancer growth I had on my nose that the Dermatology Clinic Checked and Advised the removal of it at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

I got my appointment, And the Male Nurse Explained the Removal Procedure, Then gave me a Local Anaesthetic, He then done the skin biopsy, Which was pain free, he put in 5 stitches and that was the end of the procedure, I was very pleased with the treatment I received from the The Male Nurse and his female assistant both were very confident which helped me relax, I'm now awaiting the Lab. Results, Which hopefully will be ok, Again I am very pleased with my treatment at Forth Valley Royal Hospital.

It is great we were able to help you relax during the procedure. We find that if we can distract you from the unpleasant task in hand, your anxiety level tends to subside.
