"Audiology drop in clinic"

About: Outpatients Centre / Audiology

(as a service user),

I attended drop in clinic for my 3 yearly hearing check. I felt the first member of staff was very abrupt, maybe they were trying to speak clearly? The lady I saw for my hearing test was friendly and helpful. She explained everything well, gave me new hearing aids with additional features suited to what I need. Thank you very much.

Dear Mrs Scottiedogs

Many thanks for taking the time to get in touch, we really do like to hear what patients and visitors to our the clinic say about the service.

I was disappointed to hear the first member of staff you came into contact with was abrupt, this is not how we want visitors to the clinic to be greeted, I would like to re-assure you that your feedback will be shared with the team and will discuss how we can avoid this from happening again.

I was heartened to hear that the member of staff who helped with your hearing test was friendly and helpful, and explained everything to you about your new hearing aids, this must have been very reassuring for you.

I hope you are getting on well with your new hearing aids and the additional features are making a difference to you.

Best wishes
