"A & E Admission on 26/2/19"

From arriving at Reception of A & E with a hand trauma injury until discharge 8 hrs later after a surgical repair under general anesthetic , I felt the whole service was praise worthy.

On what was clearly a busy day, the staff were without exception, helpful and courteous. Treatment progressed from initial review to registrar, to admission, to pre op surgical ward, to theatre and recovery, all in 8 hours, which was an excellent service.

A huge credit to the Gloucestershire NHS Ttust.

Sincere thanks to all the staff from receptionist to surgeon.

My only observation is that the hospital management system would benefit from a modern computerised integrated system to avoid duplication of paperwork
