"Really attentive and caring staff"

We attended the Frimely A&e department early Wednesday morning after speaking to the 111 service and being advised we should go.

My husband and I turned up to a fairly busy waiting area.

We spoke to the receptionist who was very lovely and took our details. We waited about an hour to be seen initially, during which I had blood pressure taken and a urine sample for initial tests.

They then informed us they had a hand over and were asked to wait in the waiting room to be called again. Not long after we were taken to a private room with curtains and questions asked which were really thorough and attentive. The lady that saw us was really understanding and took time to talk to us about everything that had happened. I felt very safe and calm in their care and they honestly checked everything.

She went to consult with colleagues and returned with a few extra questions and they worked on a solution for me to help me.

She explained everything to me in a lovely manner and was happy to take the time she had even though they were very busy. We never felt rushed out or like a number.

I was sent home with a doctors referral and medicine that after a day has really really helped me return to me normal day.

I have nothing bad to say about the whole experience and as a first time user of any a&e department I was really happy with our experience and really glad that I attended.

I wanted to take the time to thank them all so so much for taking time to see me and take care of me.
